With the survey, WOMEX seeks to:

• Better understand the ongoing professional challenges and assess the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on you and the global music community.
• Provide a broader picture of the current state of the industry and an invaluable insight into methods, efforts and solutions that can be shared to help the global community.
• To use the survey results to advocate on behalf of the music community.

Note:

• The survey can take up to 15 minutes to complete, depending on how detailed your explanations are. The more precise your answers, the more accurate and representative the results of this survey will be.
• In the event that the results of the survey are shared with relevant third parties (e.g. the WOMEX community, institutions, cultural interest groups), your data will remain anonymous and will not be published.
• The form is to be completed in English, depending on the details of your answers.

About WOMEX

WOMEX is a five-day event that takes place every year in a different European city. It is an international networking platform for the world music industry that includes a thriving trade fair, promotional shows, a programme of lectures and films, as well as a festive opening event and an awards ceremony. For 25 years now, WOMEX has been celebrating cultural exchange between professionals from around the world. Its last edition was held in Tampere, Finland.

The 26th edition of WOMEX is scheduled to take place in Budapest, Hungary, from 21 to 25 October 2020.
