BIO

Born on 25 January 1988 Kazmik Chamakanda (real name Martin Tawanda Gosha) is a Zimbabwean artist based in Glenview, Harare. He sings hip-hop, reggae and dancehall music. He is also a producer and a songwriter whose passion for music began in primary school when he was doing theme songs for his movie scripts which he began producing in high school.

He started off with a crew called Underground 52. He went solo in 2015 when he rebranded to Kazmik Chamakanda.

He attended Chiedza, Glen View 6 primary schools and Glenview 1 high School, Harare high school. He pursued his studies at Harare Polytechnic, Zimbabwe College of Music and later at Masasa Industrial Training Centre in Harare.

He has produced the following mixtapes and albums: ‘Underground 52 Mixtape’ (2004), ‘Gee Kaust Mixtape’ (2006), ‘Zvaityisa Promotional’ (2009), ‘Zvaityisa Reloaded’ (2010) and ‘After The Mayans’ (2012).
