Krizbeatz teams up with Rayvanny and Bella Shmurda for Wild Party video
Nigerian singer and producer Krizbeatz has released the video for his new single ‘Wild Party’.
The video, featuring fellow countryman Bella Shmurda and bongo flava star Rayvanny, was shot in Nigeria and Tanzania.
It represents the track’s chilled vibe and draws on Krizbeatz’s penchant for synchronising dance music with traditional African elements.
“Making people dance is one of my favourite things to do,” he said about the song’s hypnotising bounce, contagious drums and party-themed elements.
‘Wild Party’ is the second single off Krizbeatz forthcoming EP King of the New Wave, and follows the success of the ‘Time and Place’ single featuring Victony and Terri.
The award-winning producer and DJ is known for pushing pan-African collaborations by merging sounds and working with different artists across the continent. His upcoming EP mainly focuses on Nigerian and Tanzanian collaborations.
Krizbeatz recently completed a successful media tour run in East Africa where he expressed willingness to work with Kenyan artists like Karun, Tanasha Donna, Buruklyn Boyz and Sauti Sol’s Bien-Aime Baraza.
This is not the first time Krizbeatz has released hit collaborations with East African artists. Previously, he has worked with Diamond Platnumz, Sauti Sol, Victoria Kimani, Harmonize, Vanessa Mdee and Rayvanny, among others.
“Being able to draw influences from several places on the continent to paint a picture of the African experience is the best part of my creative process,” Krizbeatz said.
His catalogue includes the 2017 album ADM (Afro Dance Music), The Protege EP (2019) and the ‘African Time’ single (2020).
Krizbeatz is now one of Nigeria’s most consistent hitmakers, with songs he has produced racking up more than 3 billion streams. He is celebrated for his signature percussion undertones that have seen him produce mega hits for the likes of Davido, Tekno, Burna Boy, Popcaan, Tory Lanez, Omarion, Yemi Alade, Oumou Sangaré, Seyi Shay and Runtown.
The producer is an alumnus of SAE Institute in South Africa where he studied music technology after graduating with a degree in linguistics from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria.
