Open call: Milwaukee Sonic Arts Festival seeks electronic music, sonic art submissions
29 Jul 2026 - 10:26
The inaugural Milwaukee Sonic Arts Festival in the US is inviting composers, performers, composer-performers and presenters to submit work for its upcoming programme of experimental electronic music and sonic art.
Applicants should submit an abstract and outline of their presentation or workshop proposal.
The festival will explore technology as a means of sonic expression while showcasing electronic music from the region and creating opportunities for artists working in electroacoustic and experimental practices to connect and develop their work.
Submissions are open to artists from anywhere, although attendance at the festival is required. Organisers note that artists and presenters based in the US Midwest may find it easier to participate in person.
There is no submission or registration fee.
