Jaaz Odongo
Bio
Jaaz Odongo is a music producer and sound engineer from Nairobi, Kenya.
Jaaz graduated with a Business and I.T degree. Having been exposed to music and recording studios, Jaaz developed a passion for the guitar and musical performance at a young age. His father Jack is a renowned keyboard player and producer who has played with the band African Heritage in the 1970’s and early 1980’s.
Jaaz picked up the guitar at the age of 12 and went on to form a rock band called Ueta at the age of 16. The band saw him winning battle of the bands competitions.
He has produced music for Fena Gitu and together they became a formidable force. Jaaz has also worked with top acts such as Eric Wainaina, Kagwe Mungai, Taio (Camp Mulla) Rigga, Electrique Dj’s and Kato Change.
In 2015 he released his debut single 'Pale Pale'. This was followed by the release of 'Forever' ft. Sichangi in 2017. In 2018 he produced and released the 'Matriarch' album and a single called 'Abiro'
