ENEY-G real name Nkosinathi Mhlakwane, is a South African hip-hop artist, songwriter, and media executive from Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. He has released multiple albums, including Days of Atonement (2017), The Black Print (2019), The Black Print 2 (2021), and Ell-Iminu-Nathi (2024), with his latest projects in 2026 continuing to gain traction internationally.

Early Life and Education

*ENEY-G was born on April 11, 1994, in Virginia, Free State. He grew up in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. Mhlakwane attended 6 Schools, namely Hermitage Elementary, Nichols Junior, Edendale Primary school, Nhlanhleni Commercial, Asibemunye High school, and Mehlokazulu Secondary. He later studied at Bathopele Skills Development Centre and NOSA (SETA/College) and NYDA Business Training Course

Career

• ENEY-G began his music career in 2012 as a member of the hip-hop group FLYHOOD. In 2015, he promulgated his own record label, #Matla_Afrika Studios, in Johannesburg.
• ENEY-G has released 4 solo albums: #Days_Of_Atonement (2017), #The_Black-Print (2019), #The_Black-Print 2 (2021), and #ELL-IMINU-NATHI (2024). His music is known for its unique sound, personal lyrical content, and blend of pop and hip-hop styles.
