Atyang Laura

Atyang Laura is a vocalist and songwriter from Uganda
Atyang graduated at Cavendish University Uganda with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a certificate in Radio and TV presentation from Crane Media Institute Uganda.
Atyang started her music journey singing in various church choirs and later became a studio background vocalist at 15 where she was hired by various artists at numerous music studios to sing background vocals in their songs.
She later on joined a live music reggae band called the Blood brothers where she became a part of a BGV trio named the “Coconuts”, however, she also sang covers for the band.
Atyang went on to work with numerous live music bands singing cover songs on weekly gigs in bars, restaurants, hotels, weddings and other corporate functions.
She has worked with artists such as Cindy Sanyu, Iryn Namubiru, Sheeba Karungi, Irene Ntale, Naava Grey, Dr. Jose Chameleon, Voltage Music, Bennie Gunter and Winnie Nwagi, Vinka, B2C, Lydia Jasmine, to mention but a few.
In 2020, Laura released an album called 'Alakara', which launched her solo career as an artist and that is only the beginning.
