Muti Musa is a dynamic artist of Burundian, Rwandan, and South Korean descent, raised in the vibrant streets of London. Immersed in grime, drum and bass, and garage from an early age, Muti quickly became an MC who left crowds buzzing and hungry for more. His journey has since evolved into a decade-long career as a global performance artist.
Fronting his latest project, Muti and the Solarplexus, Muti has brought a blend of funk, rock, and soul to the stage, performing alongside iconic bands like BCUC and KOG on their UK tours. He has captivated audiences at renowned festivals such as Glastonbury, Shambala, Boomtown, and Medicine. His infectious stage presence and electrifying moves have even drawn comparisons to legends like Freddie Mercury, Bob Marley, Prince, and Michael Jackson.
Inspired by his recent trip to Africa, Muti is set to release his first solo EPs merging Afro-electronic sounds with the energy of Amapiano and Afrotech.
