Bio
Kanneh Alieu (born 25 August 1990), better known by his stage name BIG ALI J., is an international Liberian rapper/singer and online TV presenter based in Dakar, Senegal.
He’s known for his rapping and singing skills on hip hop classics and Afrobeats. BIG ALI J. was raised in Guinea during the Liberian
civil crisis. As a result, he grew up listening to various hip hop artists and musicians like Sekouba Bambino, Awilo Logomba, Koffi Olomide, Akon, Tiken Jah Fakoly and Salif Keita.
BIG ALI J. began his career as a rapper in Serekunda, the Gambia, after graduating from high school. He was previously part of a rap group called Double Ali Crew (D.A.C), which was founded in 2012.
He has developed a solo career with major releases and several collaborations. He is currently working on his mix-tape to be released in 2023.
