Focusing on Malique Cruise's music profession though now he's mainly focused on his profession as a professional graphic designer courtesy of a graphic design, branding and printing company formerly a record label and an entertainment management company — IANO Republic, Malique Cruise is an independent musician known for his anticipated EP “Sixteen Minutes Six Seconds”.
He began his artistic journey in 2000 at the age of 8 as an graphic art enthusiast so passion about graphic arts that it wasn’t long after he ventured into graphic designing after designing an artwork for a CD cover of which he designed playing around imagining how his artwork for his album would look like if he were to become a musician and record an album, being inspired by the artwork, that was when he decided to become a musician with a bit of influence from imitating his childhood idol, an american R&B musician, Usher.
In 2006, Malique, met rapper / friend Jizzly Jae and together went on to start a crew by the name T.E.G, abbreviation for The Evolution Gang which that led them to meet up with Dj / record producer - AZ and signing under AZGM (Arizonaʼs Good Music) where Malique recorded his first songs “Rock with me”, “5th Nov” & “Now I can”, but unfortunately the songs never got to be released to the public.
In 2008, Malique founded his own record label C.Crib Entertainment which operated as a subsidiary of AZGM (Arizonaʼs Good Music), Now with his own record label, Malique changed T.E.G from just being a crew to a talent development agency & management for his record label which he went on to discover and sign rappers Dee-Roy, Letto, Gee-Kay, Slash D & Miz Joey. In 2009 Malique teamed up with rapper Gee-Kay and the duo, recorded three songs “Step it up”, “We talkinʼ money” & “Never let you go” including being featured alongside Gee-Kay on “All around the world” - a song by Slash D, which all songs unfortunately never got to be released for the public.
In 2010, Malique, again discovered and signed new talents from his hometown, Diva Rapper, C-Zone, T-Pap'z, J. Pleasure, Mercury Cutter, Major Payne & Kurt B. Malique recorded a song “Rock it” with Jizzly Jae, Gee-Kay, Diva Rapper & T-Pap'z declaring it as T.E.Gʼs song which that led into making T.E.G both a recording band and still a talent development agency & management.
In 2011, Malique, left AZGM (Arizona’s Good Music) to now fully focus on his record label, C.Crib Entertainment now operating independently, Malique discovered and signed new talents, Lorenzo, Levy Kidd & Seta Mayple, after couple of months, Malique along T.E.G worked on a mixtape “The Evolution Gang” with songs “Over the edge”, “Passing the streets”, “It ainʼt over til its over”, “Wake up” & “Overrated”. Few months after the mixtape with T.E.G, Malique went on to work on his solo mixtape “Retailed” with lead singles “Love reply” featuring Major Payne & “Bump base”, due to unforseen circumstances nor...
