Lulu Abdalla

BIO

Lulu Abdalla is singer, songwriter and guitarist from Kenya.

Abdalla is also a music tutor in slum schools of Nairobi. He started his musical career in 2006 as a percussionist until he picked up his guitar and started his musical career.

In 2014 he released his first Album called 'Thembassa'. Abdalla has performed in China, the UK, Canada, Taiwan, Malawi, Tanzania and Norway. At the moment lulu Abdalla is working on his second album which will be launched in 2020,the month to be announced later.
An alumni of sauti za kwetu now known as Sarabi lulu Abdalla sings in four languages.luhya,digo, Swahili and English.
His tunes from raggae,chakacha,rhumba,salsa,hiphop and rnb are all fused with African elements.
Lulu Abdalla is an all African music awards nominee in 2015 where he was nominated in two categories,most promising artist in Africa and best afro rock song in Africa for his song Thembassa.
