Ntsika Fana Ngxanga, known simply as "Ntsika," is a multifaceted artist renowned for his soulful voice, award-winning songwriting, and dynamic performances. As the founder of Nomadic Tribe Entertainment and lead composer and member of the internationally acclaimed a cappella group "The Soil," Ntsika has established himself as a prominent figure in the music industry.
On March 8, 2019, Ntsika released his highly anticipated debut solo album, "I Write What I Dream," to critical acclaim. This spiritual, cross-generational, and timeless body of work showcases the rich African musical heritage that has earned praise from respected journalists. The album's title is inspired by a series of visitations and dreams from his great-great-grandfather, who gifted him with the songs that comprise the album. "I Write What I Dream" debuted at number 12 on iTunes.
Since the album's release, Ntsika has performed at several notable events, including the Presidential Inauguration in 2019, the Cape Town International Jazz Festival 2019, and the Hugh Masekela Commemoration 2019. His accolades include nominations for the SATMA (2019), SAAFMA (2020 and 2021), and two SAMA nominations (2020).
