Rilaveta Mabunda

BIO

Mabunda Rilaveta Shaun, professionally known as Rilaveta Mabunda or @flamevocalz, is a South African gospel artist, songwriter and teacher born in Giyani, Limpopo. Hailing from Gumbani Village in Malamulele, he carries both academic excellence and a passion for worship. He graduated from the University of Venda with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Biology  a journey he credits to  perseverance, sleepless nights and family support.

As a teacher by profession, Rilaveta brings discipline and heart to everything he does. Deeply rooted in his Christian faith, he joined Vukona Worship in 2019 and has since become known for authentic worship and songwriting. He ministers regularly at church events including, The Image of Christ Church and collaborates with regional initiatives through the Vukona Worship Facebook platform. Currently active in the South African gospel scene, Rilaveta connects with fans through live Facebook broadcasts and music announcements.

His upcoming song “Nsovo wa Wena” continues his mission of turning testimony into worship that uplifts and encourages.
