Bio
Quexie Montana (aka Que or Q.Montana) began his musical journey at the tender age of 7 when he learnt to play the bass guitar. He then learnt to play the piano, keyboards, acoustic guitar and percussion. This well-rounded musician took time to develop his skills in the music industry by working with established artistss like Tanga wekwaSando, Afrika Revenge, Dudu Manhenga and Zangi (Zambia). He released his debut album, 'Neo Vector', in 2005. This was followed by 'Sweet Pain' in in 2007, 'Strings Attached' in 2011 and most recently 'Silent Whisper'.
Backed by a vibrant and energetic band, Untamed, Que's performances have thrilled and inspired many at major festivals in Zimbabwe and elsewhere. He has a loyal following in Zambia and were invited to perform for former president Dr Kenneth Kaunda at a Christmas special that was broadcast live on national TV. He is currently based in South Africa.
